I am a sucker for a themed event. I know that as you scour the internet to find themes, there are so many great ideas out there. While some brides like a simple classic color combo, others want to think outside the box. I am going to give you some that aren’t as popular…yet!

I have a reputation of which I’m quite proud. When I say proud, I somewhat cringe because it’s a half truth. At wedding events, I’ve been known to rock the Angus to some ACDC, take the mic for a full performance of “Hey Ya”, do some interpretive dancing, and I may or may not have played a very naughty rap song at a small town wedding.

I am loving the trend of allowing bridesmaids to wear a dress they choose that fits their body types. Since every lady now really does have the option of wearing that dress again, they can pick their own jewelry and shoes. This is a huge game changer for the typical “Here’s the earrings I want you to wear” gift given out at the rehearsal dinner. I fully admit that 7 years ago I did this, but here are some gifts I would give in 2012.
